Aftercare guides

What happens after the appointment decides how long the result lasts. Everything below is what you would be told in studio, collected in one place so you can check back.

The first 24 hours

True for almost everything on the menu.

  • Keep the area dry and product-free for the first 24 hours — this is when adhesives cure and lifted hair sets.
  • No steam, sauna, hot yoga, spray tan or swimming for a day.
  • Skip active skincare (acids, retinol, strong exfoliants) on or near a treated area for two to three days.
  • Sleep on your back after a lash set if you can — a pillow crushes fans out of shape.

When to get in touch

Call 0416 684 088 rather than waiting it out. Most of these are quick to fix if they are caught early.

  • Redness, swelling or itching around the eyes after a lash or tint service.
  • A lash set that feels heavy, pulls, or has lashes stuck together.
  • Nail lifting at the base within the first week, or any pain around a nail.
  • A wax site that is still inflamed or bumpy after 48 hours.

This is general guidance from a beauty studio, not medical advice. For anything painful, spreading or affecting your vision, see a doctor or go to a hospital.
